History History

The “Niederländischer Hof”, founded in 1901, made hotel history in Schwerin. The hotel took its name from the marriage between Duke Heinrich of Mecklenburg and the Dutch Queen Wilhelmina in the same year. The “Niederländischer Hof” acquired the title “Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness Duke Heinrich of Mecklenburg”. Today, the establishment presents this unique Schwerin tradition to its guests with elegant furnishings, where light and colours have been used to create a distinctive ambience.
